SLOW

For years to come...

Life and cycles

Slow fashion, enduring timeless design. Minimizing waste.

Our hope is for each Pink House product to be worn for years to come and be passed on through the generations. Rather than following trends, we focus on timeless designs made out of high quality and durable fabrics.

Materials & Fabrics

Our primary selection of fabrics are natural. Where this is not practical or possible for the application in which they are intended we choose recycled materials, such as our Repreve® swim short fabric which is made out of recycled plastic bottles rescued from the ocean.

Find out more about the materials and fabrics we choose, their particular qualities and to how to look after them.

Flexibility first

As a women-led business and a fully female team, it's important that we provide flexible working arrangements. Many of our employees work part-time to allow them to make school pick-ups and be around for their families and friends. Because, whilst beautiful products are all very well, the greatest luxury in life is spending quality time with friends and family and making the most of the natural world.

Where possible, at Pink House, we aim to protect the natural environment that inspires us through considered design, production and ways of working.

We like to keep it local

No one in our UK team travels more than 14 miles to get to work at our Semley showroom, warehouse and office which is made out of a converted engineering shed (although you wouldn't recognize it now!).

If you've ever placed an order with us, it will have been shipped out by the wonderful Abi from this very warehouse.

And provide ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service

It's also Abi who provides our in-house customer service that is regularly rated 5 stars on Google.

It's also at this HQ that we design and produce our Atelier collection out of surplus fabric, alongside our local Vincy atelier which supplies products to the Pink House boutique and supports the local economy.

Wherever possible we choose packaging materials that are produced from recycled materials that are also recyclable and biodegradable.

Our packaging & Delivery

We have responsibilities to source sustainable packaging from our suppliers to warehouse to stockists (many of whom are located in sensitive or protected environments) to customers all around the world.

Wherever possible we choose packaging materials that are produced from recycled materials that are also recyclable and biodegradable. Including: compostable dustbags; compostable hangtags; non toxic dyes and recyclable gift boxes and warehouse packaging.
