Lotty B moved to Mustique in 1993 when her husband took up the role of the island doctor. What began as a 1 year stint soon became a lifetime of living on Mustique, and 30 years on Lotty, Michael and their 4 children still live on the island.
Lotty had trained as a stained glass painter, but moving to Mustique made it impossible to keep up this discipline.
Instead, when she moved to Mustique she brought silk-painting materials, and began to hand paint silk sarongs.
As demand for her designs grew, she began printing her designs and turning them into unique women’s resortwear pieces.
In 2008 she took over a small boutique on Mustique known as the Pink House.
Already having an established collection of silk and linen resort wear for women, she added linen printed shirts and swim shorts for men under the label 'Pink House'.
The label has grown in popularity and her collections are now sold through our website and at exclusive locations internationally.
Many of the products stocked in the boutique are locally made in neighboring St Vincent, whilst the main collection is produced internationally using natural and recycled fabrics.
Next came fabrics, tableware and interiors. Having spent over 30 years living in the tropics, Lotty B is a true connoisseur of island living.
Lotty B's prints have ‘Island Design’ at the very heart and capture the essence of life at home on Mustique.
